The idea of a scarecrow competition sounds like great fun.
I am sure that all the plots with “children” will take part.
Have you any ideas of when in the year to hold this competition
And any other thoughts rules or requirements for eligible scarecrows .
Scarecrow competition seem to be very popular with village fetes,
Rainow near Macclesfield have a scarecrow fortnight when the whole village
Is invaded with straw caricatures.
May be a nominal entrance fee could be made with receipts going to the allotments funds,
